After successes in 2011 in regional elections in the German capital and in the following year in the states of Schleswig-Holstein and North Rhine-Westphalia, the German Pirate Party , which initially focused on filesharing, censorship and data protection, has seen two of its state-level leaders in the states of Brandenburg and Baden-Wuerttemburg step down in the past few days alone.
